I know a few people who have visited Celebration, and they seem to think it's creepy. Anyone know why???

I however, think it is absolutely beautiful.

I plan on moving there sometime next year. I'd like to know more about Celebration.

That's because there's a "Town Manager" and a highly annoying school board member who won't go away.

I have known people that have referred to the town as "creepy" or "odd" as well. I guess they sterotype it as "Stepford" or "Pleasantville". Who knows!!

I have heard it referred to as giving the appearance and atmosphere of a movie set - looks good from the outside but there's nothing behind the facade.

It's a fine town - no better/no worse than most.......except for a bit more gossipy and more infighting.

Don't think it's worth the prices/rents compared to some other places around but if you're super into Disney then it's probably a good match.
